The Roaming Table Food Tours

We loved this tour and would highly recommend it. Rita was a fantastic guide. The food was wonderful (and had great variety) and the history was way more fascinating than I expected. One member of our group is now daydreaming about moving to Lewiston.

My husband, parents, and I attended the Lewiston Food Tour this past weekend, and what a lovely time we had! I was born & raised in Lewiston, yet I learned so much history about the town and buildings that I never knew, which was fascinating. All of the food tastings were wonderful ~ there was great variety, and they were well spaced so that I had room to eat everything! Our tour guide, Rita, was very knowledgeable and entertaining, and everything was EXTREMELY well organized (something I very much appreciate!)....

Wonderful day in Lewiston discovering great food while learning the history of this neat town. Rita was a wonderful guide full of knowledge and love for her home town. It started to rain at the end of the tour and Rita’s husband brought us umbrellas and offered to take our husbands back to get the cars. I have been on several food tours and this was my favorite!

What a great food tour this was. Our guide, Rita, was very knowledgeable about the town's history and it made for a super walking tour as well. We've been on several food tours and this was even better than NYC. The food itself was so yummy! Thanks!

The tour guides were very knowledgeable about Lewiston and did a very good job linking the history of Lewiston to the places we were tasting food. All of the food was delicious and the portions were perfect. I look forward to participating in the Hertel Ave tour when it’s ready. Highly recommend whether your from out of town or near by. You will learn something new.

The food and drink was delicious, but the real star of the tour was the atmosphere. Our tour guide Rita was so knowledgeable and welcoming. Her love for the city was contagious, and we couldn't help but fall in love with it as well. I had never been on a food tour before, but after this one, it is my new favorite way to see a city. Highly, highly recommend!

My favorite part of the experience was literally travelling the history that was all around us, and sampling the food along the way. Our guide Rita was knowledgeable, thorough and personable. She made things that much better.
